Cambourne drivers are obliviously right, as focussing on driving safely means loss of concentration on others using the public highway. It's obvious to everyone except Highways England, local highways engineers, local councillors, drivers, policing, CPS, judges, juries.....er...
His convertible converted the building from habitable to uninhabitable. Possibly because the building wasn't wearing hi-viz nor a helmet. His insurers claim the building appeared from nowhere, without signalling, into the path of their insured client. Obviously contributory negligence.
Cutting corners. No indicators were used in the making of this idiot.
Built a bypass that takes most motor traffic over the railway line instead of under it. The underpass was also converted to one-way alternate working with traffic lights with (some) more space for cyclists & pedestrians.
No, I don't think so. But this is a Fiesta at what seems to be the location - pretty common car. It's on the pavement, it's getting ideas about being in the house.
Welcome to "car crashes into building". In the most notable instances, it's "man arrested after car crashes into wall" like he's a rogue builder putting up walls in the middle of the road.
Allow this - wall crashes into car

Resistance is useless!
Welcome to car crashes into Building.
unfortunately, we broke the threading on here months ago so best to quote.
It has taken me a while to figure out the idea behind this thread! When you spot it, its like a veil has been lifted....
That's lucky that it only hit someone in a car as it could have been very nasty to a pedestrian etc. I hope she recovers quickly from that
I think the word is "futile"
Challenge accepted.
'A huge young Vogon guard stepped forward and yanked them out of their straps with his huge blubbery arms. “You can’t throw us into space,” yelled Ford, “we’re trying to write a book.”
“Resistance is useless!” shouted the Vogon guard back at him. It was the first phrase he’d learned when he joined the Vogon Guard Corps.'

Well, as long as the wall had passed a test and paid road tax that's just a sad incidental accident on the forward march to a better future.
Perhaps a suitable memorial for it would be for its brethren to join it in forming the road surface?
We've seen worse.
You are right though, not really a building.
The level crossing I go through at North Camp has a big pile of broken gates. It's not one you have to go through either, there's a big road bridge over the line. If the gate is down and my train hasn't arrived yet, other side of course, I can do it, under two minutes I reckon, hard out of breath effort though, worth a go...
"Ely bridge started the fight" says van. Another low point in the Fens, where male drivers confuse 6 inches with 6cm.

A Volkswagen driver hit a parked a Suzuki Celerio which was rammed into a garden wall, demolishing it and damaging the gas pipe at 9.30 pm on Friday evening. The VW flipped in the road.
The Suzuki is shown in the photo, was parked on private land about 4 feet from the kerb on a straight 30 mph section of Welshpool Road (you can see the parking spot in this street view image). I can only guess that the driver was either distracted, under the influence or had a medical episode.
People drive well above the speed limit on this road ALL THE TIME. But what makes it worse is that I walk along here almost every day, and had walked along that section of pavement and crossed the road at this very spot only a few minutes earlier! <gulp>

Stoke-on-Trent pub forced to shut after being hit repeatedly by van
So, if I read this right, a self driving van reversed into a pub multiple times while being watched by a self driving RAV4. Then they both drove off and the pub has now had to shut for a while

Just noticed the reply from the parks police
"Hi, this occurred in the early hours of this morning when the park gates were closed to vehicles. There is an ongoing police investigation."
What the hell speed was the driver doing ?
"The speed you need to be going to rip the engine out of a modern car is not one you should be able to achieve in a city or a park. Absolutely unbelievable."
The driver of a white BMW (quelle surprise!) expresses his deep, endurings feelings of inadequacy* by destroying a set of street lights in Thamesmead, London.

Many of these images and stories are horrifying. But I give thanks that the perpetrators were not cyclists lacking high vis and a helmet.
The death toll and damage to property would be unimaginable. Apocalyptic even.
